Ok...so after a long (and unexpected) break...the BradleySpirit.com's CHEERLEADER of the WEEK is back. Sorry we went away for so long.

This week's CotW is Whitney Fosco a junior from Algonquin, IL.

    - -

Stay tuned to bradleyspirit.com over the next week and a half as the squad prepares for UCA College Spirit Camp.

Coach Ryan Hinnen will be twittering from the UW-Milwaukee campus (Aug 1st-4th) as the Braves gain valuable safety experience/knowledge, attend sessions on crowd involvement, and compete with squads from conferences around the nation (Big Ten, Big XII, SEC, etc.), including those Redbirds from just down the road. The link to follow the Braves Cheerleaders on twitter: http://twitter.com/BradleyCheer

Pictures and results from camp will be posted asap on bradleyspirit.com.

        Whoa...

I had no idea the cheerleaders were good. Not that they aren't good in games...just I had no idea in competitions that they were good. Hopefully that came out right haha.

That is actually an old sump-pump. And, just as a sump-pump works hard without needing someone turning it on - the recipient of this award did as well.

At the end of a practice weekend the coaches give this award out to the person that they felt worked the hardest, complained the least, and really led by example.

We also have the "Golden Acorn" award that goes to either the guys or the girls at the end of practice depending on who worked harder. Special prize to the team that racks up the most points by the end of the semester.

Really this was just the ugliest thing that the coaches could find at Lowes. Its three squirrels (fitting for BU) standing on top of each other (much like cheerleaders) holding up an acorn.
