I'm not anti-Big Ten, but what, does he feel the heat??
is he worried that the Valley is closing the gap on the Big Ten or a little embarrassed
that they can never beat any of the ACC teams in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge??
See if you read the guy's words the same way I do...
..interview with Big Ten Commissioner Jim Delany in the Chicago Tribune...
"..... the ACC-Big Ten Challenge, a basketball series that has been as
competitive as virus vs. laptop. After 11 tries, the Big Ten remains winless.
"Who are we gonna play, the Mountain West?" Delany said with a smirk."
yeah...Jim, maybe your conference wouldn't embarrass itself so badly??
Or just maybe you'd see how good some of the mid-major conferences are if you ever come out of your home arenas....
if you really want a smirk...check the final paragraph...
".... since 2006, the Big Ten is 0-6 in BCS bowl games while the SEC has
won three consecutive national titles.
You could almost hear him thinking: Who are we gonna play, the Sun Belt?"
