Here it is...the most talked about dunk in eons...

but you'll be a bit disappointed....
first..the video is from the far other end of the gym....and both LeBron and Jordan Crawford have very similar dark jerseys on..
so unless you see the preceding footage, which IS included on this video, it is hard to see LeBron...but indeed
Crawford does go up and dunks right over LeBron who is also jumping and trying to block the attempt.

Here's another video of the dunk from the other end of the floor. A little easier to see.

It happened at a Nike camp. After Jordan Crawford, a guard who attends Xavier University, dunked on Lebron in this scrimmage, Lebron walked off the court and conferred with Nike officials who then announced that taking video at the camp was not allowed. They immediately confiscated the video equipment of the 2 coaches who had recorded the dunk. It was suspected this censorship was because Lebron and Nike did not want the video to become public, and that it could hurt Lebron's reputation. Nike has a contract with Lebron that is said to be for several hundred million dollars.
Nobody could ever recall nor could find evidence that Nike has ever had such a rule against video, prompting suspicions that they just made it up to allow them to confiscate the videos of this event.
All that did was make it into a much bigger story.

Nike has proven time and again that they are a marketing machine and know how to create "hype". Wouldn't it be something if this "phenomenom" was all part of their master plan to hype Lebron?

If this really were an elaborate marketing scheme, I would be really impressed. But I doubt it. There'd be too many people in on the "secret" to keep quiet.

Nike can't pay the Xavier kid, right? Since it'd impact his amateur status? I suppose he could agree to do it for free just for the exposure.

Just saw the dunk played on ESPN. I could've understood why there was all the hype if the guy did a windmill or a 360 on The King but that was about as ordinary a two-handed dunk that I've ever seen. I didn't even look like Lebron even tried to block it. Much ado about nothing.

I'm not saying Nike set this up from the start. Obviously, they can't pay Crawford. He was an unwilling and unknowing accomplice. Nike just took this and ran with it to create a "buzz"...... Maybe?

One needs to think like the Drive-by Media. Understand they nit-pick and BLOW everything out of proportion.

Find out what the Drive-by Media will run with and blow hard on.... then go out and do it. Pretty soon you'll get the blow-hard media workin up your story... Blow media - BLOW HARD!!!
