Lewis was picked to finish 2nd (incl first place votes) in their division of their conference and even though its D-II the Braves didn't exactly come strong like that v SIUE last season (a transitional school).

I really think this team will surprise many people and I don't think that surprise will be the bad kind of surprises.
So yeah we should be better as a squad from top to bottom, but I still don't see beating Lewis by 33...hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I hope to see 40 minutes of intense play be everyone on the floor. The team needs to set a tone starting at practice on being consistent and showing up to play from tip off to the buzzer. If we want to be a top team we cannot have to many lapses. How many times during a game where we could not score nor stop the other team for stretches of the game. Those situations need to be minimized."Educate and inform the whole mass of the people...they are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty."

Since this pick-em is closed now, I will summarize the guesses..
WE HAVE 22 DIFFERENT LINEUPS THAT HAVE BEEN GUESSED..
only 8 of the different lineups would go to the tiebreaker, and 14 different combinations were only piocked once.
One guess included only 4 players in the starting lineup, so that guy isn't likely to win, and one guy picked twice, so I am not sure what we'll do if he wins with one of his picks!
we'll know in just a little over 24 hours!
-SS CR DD SM EM (3)
-SS CR DD TB EM
-SS CR AW SM EM (2)
-SS CR WE EM JP
-SS CR SM TB EM (3)
-SS CR WE AT JP
-SS DD AW SM TB
-SS DD SM EM JP
-SS AW SM TB EM (2)
-SS AW SM EM JP
-SS SM TB EM JP
-CR DD AW SM WE (2)
-CR DD AW WE TB
-CR AW SM WE EM (3) *
-CR AW SM WE TB
-CR AW SM TB EM
-CR AW WE TB EM (2)
-CR SM TB EM JP
-CR AW SM TB (this one is not going to win unless BU starts just 4 guys!)
-AW SM WE TB EM (2)
-DD AW SM WE TB
-DD AW WE TB EM
here's my mulligan guess - WE CR MK DD EM

EVENTUALLY AW and WE are in the starting lineup IMO but, for now, JL eases both back into it. SS and CR start in their places.
I'm having a hard time thinking CR doesn't start but once AW is at full speed unless SM or EM DOESN'T start AW will occupy the 3 spot leaving CR on the bench at tipoff.....?
CR would be in running for the Valleys 6th man if thats the case.
IF If only one of SM/EM starts putting AW at the two then CR would occupy the 3 spot.
I don't like leaving Sm or EM on the bench to start but...
EM/SM
AW
CR
TB
WE
OR
EM
SM
AW
TB
WE

Too late, but I agree with earlier entry:
WE, TB, CR, AW, SM
Hopefully this year's team will be able to establish consistent roles/rotations, with out players having to learn/adjust to playing multiple positions with multiple different combinations on the floor..
