  • University of South Carolina admits to NCAA violations

    South Carolina has reported 14 NCAA secondary violations from the past six months, including one for an improper text message to a recruit and another for ???impermissible snacks.???
    Five of the violations were from the first-year program of men??™s basketball coach Darrin Horn.

    seems like all the "USC's" are getting into trouble...

    and some of the stories on Sydney are impressive regarding how blatant & lavish their style of living was with no apparent source of income...

      "Impermissable snacks"? Really? We're going to cite violations for impermissable snacks. What in God's name has college athletics come to. Impremissable snacks. Good God.

        Maybe that was the real reason Coach Les denied Danny Granger his food back in Jan. 2003? He was trying to avoid a charge of impermissable snacking.

          snacks = violation (certainly if you are a mid-major)
          Big screen TV, Beemer, or an envelop with $1000 = perfectly OK if you are a BCS school

            Georgia also admits a few impermissible snacks, and in jest one player comes forward with admissions that he ..
