  • #72 Bradley - 3rd in the MVC - and someone tell the writer Sam Singh is a 6th year senior!

#71 Northwestern - 9th in the Big Ten - but this writer seems completely unaware that his pick for the starting center, Kyle Rowley, just fractured his foot and could be out several months - possibly longer!

    #70 Miami (FL) - 9th in ACC

    • The backcourt does not need too much depth right now, but freshmen Jake Eastman, James Robertson and Dyricus Simms-Edwards will be available if they are needed.
      Really?

      Projected Starting Five:
Eddren McCain, Sophomore, Guard, 5.6 points per game
Sam Maniscalco, Junior, Guard, 12.6 points per game
Andrew Warren, Junior, Guard, DNP last season
Taylor Brown, Sophomore, Forward, 3.4 points per game
Sam Singh, Senior, Center, 4.7 points per game
I can easily see this being the starting lineup at the beginning of the season.
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

      • Despite Dave Reynolds' mention that James Robertson left Bradley and transferred to Elmhurst and will play there and be eligible immediately...

I find no mention of him on Elmhurst's roster.
        Maybe they have a JV?

Other then here, this is by far the most respect Bradley has gotten all off season.

I agree, and a very well written summary, Robertson notwithstanding. Until I see Warren is fully functional, I'm sticking with a 4th or 5th place finish behind UNI, CU, and ISU Red.

            • I didn't realize Andrew was 40% three point shooter. We can sure use that, get healthy Anderw...

So theoretically what these raters are saying here is that Bradley would finish 10th in the Big Ten and 10th in the ACC. I just can't go along with that. Preseason polls are pretty much meaningless IMO.

I can go with that prediction. In all honesty we have not done anything special the last few years to be considered in the top 50. I do believe we have the potential to be special but that potential needs to be tapped first before any national media takes us serious. If you ask me UNI is the one team that should be taken a bit more serious this year then what the national media has given them.

So can I, but I still see it as EM taking CR/DD starting spot. There is no reason to have SM and EM on the floor at the same time starting the game. We could have a very mature (only 1 starting soph.) and big line up if JL just starts SM at point CR/DD @ 2 AW @ 3 TB @ 4 and WE/SS @ 5.

What does everyone see that makes CU so good this year? I know it's Dana, and he always wins 20 games. But it's a deep league this year, and Booker is a huge loss. Is it possible they fall to 4th or 5th?

I'll answer a question with a question. How many times in the last ten years have they finished fourth or lower?

I'm not a huge fan of that cockiness (That's reserved for BU fans on this board ), but I agree completely agree LincolnJay. No way CU finishes below 3rd... BOOK IT!

                              Aren't they due for a ninth-place finish?

Doesn't this question work both ways? How many times have we finished above fourth in the last seven years? Maybe this is the year for both!

                              • I don't see how they can drop out of the top 3. Yeah they lose booker but they have shooters that can step up, and take the load of some of that.
