Scheduling Woes
I was hoping to see a h/h with a MVC on the schedule this year, especially after the good experience we had in the CIT.
However, the landscape overall is changing somewhat. Georgetown has agreed to a second h/h with us; after we beat them on their home court in the 2006-2007 season (which got us an at-large bid).
We also added a h/h vs Dayton, which should be good for both programs. For CAA squads, the A-10 makes good sense to accomplish scheduling strength.
I could not agree more with the previous comments about scheduling top-flite mids. We had a terrible OOC schedule last year, which artificially lowered our RPI all year ,despite winning 14 of our last 16 games.
Maybe we can get a bracketbuster - would love to return the hospitality from last march........
