  • Ryan Boatright

Not Bradley related but he has de-committed from USC.

oh surprise....so he isn't keeping the commitment he made as an 8th grader...
The odds of an 8th grader actually ending up where he says he'll go at that age are slim...There are numerous examples Dykstra, Euton, Jackson, Payne, Davis, Polee..

some even decommit and recommit several times..

Duncanville, Texas point guard prospect Reger Dowell has decommitted from Alabama, his father said today. "We thought about it for several weeks now, and we decided the best thing for Reg to do would be to open his recruitment back...

Here's an update on the kid Billy Gillispie offered and he accepted as an 8th grader...Dakota Euton...
this is a kid who was holding a scholarship from KENTUCKY until just a couple months ago then was sent packing by Calipari...

Now, here are the kid's offers.... Akron, Nevada, High Point, Eastern Kentucky and Wright State.
and the other kid Gillispie offered as an 8th grader, Jackson, has NO offers now!!
So is this evidence or what???? That if you offer a kid that early, then it not only might not work out for either party, but those offers to kids who were NOT panning out were one of the very things that got Gillispie fired!!

        Young Recruits

Once again---The NCAA should mandate no recruiting prior to the Junior year in High School.

That'll just keep the honest crooks from going after younger players.

Ryan Boatright commits again -- this time to UConn

but he is not 6-2 as many sites appear to say..
see what Boatright himself says just a couple months ago...

"I can run a team and be a point guard. I am only 5-10."

USC got busted, but the gravy train is still flowing at UConn.

right on -- UConn came up with the ultimate ruse -- they had a team manager who was also a KNOWN big money agent!!

This guy Josh Nochimson was a known agent as far back as the 1990's yet was the UConn team manager for SIX YEARS!!
..and all the time funneling money and benefits to players!!
The Hartford Courant reported that in 1999, Connecticut basketball coach Jim Calhoun and the Huskies athletics department were warned in a letter from the NCAA that it considered Josh Nochimson a sports agent and that the departement should have no contact with him.

Yet another top recruit is committing then decommitting repeatedly...
Michael Chandler who was once a Louisville commit -- then backed out --
and then recommitted to Xavier...now is saying he is reneging again on that commitment...

Rumor is that he "got a better deal at UConn just like Ryan Boatright did.."
