Kentucky guard Jodie Meeks to remain in NBA draft, will not return to UK

Today (5 pm Eastern time) is the deadline for underclass players to remain eligible for the NBA draft. ESPN is reporting that Kentucky guard Jodie Meeks has informed new UK coach John Calipari that he will not return to school and will remain in the draft.-

In one other NBA draft-related article on ESPN- Last year's #1 rated high school guard Brandon Jennings, who played this past year in Europe rather than go to college, is now doing a little trash-talking and criticizing Sanish point guard prospect Ricky Rubio, who many expect to be picked among the top 3 or 4 picks in this month's NBA draft--

This might be the least interesting draft that I can recall.

I mean a guy like Hasheem Thabeet projected as the number 2 pick overall, that guy has "BUST" written all over him. Other then the Clippers Id try to move out of the top 5-10 as quickly as possible.

I do though think Harden might be a bigtime steal in this draft. Guy is just a soild basketball player.

Houston I could not agree more. As I said earlier this draft is a real crap shot. Blake Griffen is the only real star out of this bunch!

On Rubio, he did play pretty well against the US Olympic team in China! What has Jennings done?
