6-9 Jeff Robinson...and it even sounds a bit like Matt Painter isn't really sorry to see him go..
"Robinson... will not play basketball next season at Purdue.
...he was not admitted to the school because of poor grades his senior year.
Purdue coach Matt Painter called Robinson “a guy that has unbelievable
potential” when he signed a letter of intent in November. But after averaging
7 points, 3 rebounds and 1.5 blocks as a junior, Robinson averaged just 3.5
points as a senior and found it difficult to get playing time."
so it sounds like Painter is saying the kid had it all when he committed but maybe lost it since then...
One other tidbit...Crandall Head, who transferred to Chicago Crane has been kicked off (suspended) from the Crane basketball team with rumors swirling as to what he did...
he is still taking summer classes and not suspended from school, just from all team activities according to Loren Tate.
