The NCAA in financial trouble??
They are cutting costs?? Are they going to use this as an excuse to cut back on the USC investigation??
This writer is calling and demanding the NCAA nail USC for their obvious cheating!!
Read Tim Floyd's response...he hints that Kansas' players are being PAID, so that they even turn down the NBA...
"Kansas has two players who would have been NBA lottery picks, Cole
Aldrich and Sherron Collins, and they are returning to school," Floyd said.
"Our guys get an offer from Islamabad and they're gone."
USC's Pete Carroll scoffs at any NCAA investigation -- it is obvious the NCAA simply is giving him a free pass...
"we haven't been asked anything (in THREE years) to update the situation.
The NCAA hasn't asked a question or revisited the matter."
Re: the Arkansas violations...
"But it makes one understand better why the Arkansas head coaching search in 2007 finally found its way to Creighton's Dana Altman
after a handful of bigger names said "no," and then why Altman was already out the door in 25 hours. He likely accepted the job from Frank Broyles,
then started his due diligence and had dinner with former chancellor John White and realized he was walking into a potential cesspool."
This Arkansas writer is calling upon the university to be open, honest, and find the truth and not hide it...
meanwhile Auburn & Georgia also report new violations to the NCAA,
what's going on in the SEC???
They simply refer to the Georgia violations as "hiccups", as they really aren't actually breaking the rules to those guys...
