Each of the past several seasons have seen at least 60 coaching changes at the D-I level...
this year, thus far, there have been far fewer...in the range of only 25....with the firing of Billy Gillispie and the open spots at Georgia, Alabama, Virginia, and Arizona being the biggies.
This will also be one the few years this decade that the Missouri Valley hasn't seen a new coach hire.
Are we just in a down cycle of coaching hires or is the economy playing a part and making it a bit less appealing to pay buyouts and hire new coaches?
FoxSports' Jeff Goodman lists who he thinks is on the HOT SEAT this coming year..and he doesn't think any coach in the Valley is in such a position..
He does mention Jerry Wainwright, Todd Lickliter, & Greg McDermott.
