Some schools (such as Tennessee) pay as much as $25,000 to these "scouting services"....
this is one of the many ways that top colleges actually can legally get away with paying to land a recruit...or at least "get in the door"..
they just give the money to some "scouting service" which is in reality, the AAU-boss himself or some handler, thus the money will trickle down to the recruits...
Funny how the NCAA has never cared before, but now that so many examples of cheating have hit the media and message boards
