The IHSA is investigationg the fraud at Simeon...and it's almost certain they won't allow such a crooked program to remain STATE CHAMPS for 2006 & 2007.

Simeon's title for 2006 should be taken away and

RICHWOODS SHOULD BE CROWNED THE NEW 2006 CLASS AA BASKETBALL STATE CHAMPIONS!

ps-- I know the IHSA will not officially declare a substitute state champ in such a case,
but do they need to... when Hales forfeited their state basketball title
the IHSA/March Madness website now declares Winnebage as State Champions via forfeit

Why do I think that the IHSA and NCAA need to mostly ignore Rose and instead focus on the "handlers". Yes, I feel bad for Richwoods, but the system needs cleaned up more than Richwoods needs the championship. Something like publically thank Rose for mentioning their activities and instute a ban on any other players associated with those handlers?

I would bet money Richwoods could careless if they get that state championship. It's means nothing at this point.
