    Your probably right on the time frame of contracts for most AD's (June/July) but wouldn't make more sense to advertise early (before then) so candidates would know when and if the job is to be advertised/filled. This way candidates would not be in limbo of signing new/renegotiated contract's. To me, if the job has not already been offered or a specific candidate talked to then the early its out there the better. Just my thoughts
