Greg Berry from Manlius, IL played basketball at BU back in the late 1960's, graduating in 1968.
He had coaching jobs in Oklahoma and New Mexico for much of the past couple decades...
Greg spent 12 years as an assistant on the men's basketball team at New Mexico State under Lou Henson, and one more season as assistant and interim women's coach at NMSU...and also coached softball at NMSU for five years as was their winningest coach.
He then took the head coaching job at DII New Mexico Highlands for three seasons, stepping down in Feb. 2008.
Berry also was an assistant at Northeastern State in Oklahoma and Houghton College in western New York.
After graduating from Bradley in Greg played and coached for the Athletes in Action touring basketball team. His seven year participation (1968-75) with that group took him to 46 states and 12 foreign countries.
The last year or so he has been coaching at a New Mexico high school.
