Bradley party for Ken Kavanagh

There will be a party for Ken Kavanagh before he leaves to take over the Athletic Director job at Florida Gulf Coast University hosted by his friends.

Everyone who has known Ken, or appreciates all he has done at Bradley, or would like to see him before he leaves is welcome.

Here are the details--
The party is Tuesday, June 9th 4:30-6:30 @ the Civic Center
Everyone is welcome.

Reminder- all BU fans are welcome to stop by the Civic Center to greet and see Ken Kavanagh one last time before he leves to take the Florida Gulf Coast AD position.
It is 4:30 to 6:30 pm tonight, Tuesday, June 9, in the Civic Center Theater lobby.

I have read a couple times on other boards where it's reported that Ken Kavanagh not only wanted the AD job at NIU,
but that he was actually a "finalist" for that job.
I really don't want to get into any arguments between boards, but I can assure everyone from personal communication that FGCU
is the only job KK wanted or applied for, and in this day of instant media coverage of everything....the name "Kavanagh"
was never once mentioned anywhere in conjunction with the NIU spot, least of all ever mentioned as a finalist?
Anyway, had he wanted the job, he'd have not only been the highest profile and best candidate, and likely would
have gotten the job over the other "finalists".

By comparison, even when KK was pursuing an AD spot 1000 miles away at a school barely anyone's ever heard of, his name was in the press many times.
