By the way, I learned a few more things about Bradley's trip to Las Vegas.
If anyone is planning on going on their own, and not as part of the BU sponsored tour, PM me for the information.

As coach said BU is getting rooms at the Mirage and if you are not part of the charter you can get the BU rate of $150 for Fri and Sat and $75 for Sunday but you will need to make the arrangements through BU for that pricing. They also told me to call back in 3 weeks or so if I want tickets with BU fans. I have not looked yet but I bet you can get some deals in Vegas at other hotels. I'd bet the economy will not have picked up enough in Nov. for Vegas to jack up their prices.
I'm also waiting for Southwest Airlines to post their November prices to see what type of deal I can get."Educate and inform the whole mass of the people...they are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty."

I thought there were only 4 teams making the trip to Vegas after playing 2 games at home. Then the 2 winners from Friday play on Saturday as do the losers, for a total of 4 games. If there are 8 teams, who are the other 4?What part of illegal don't you understand?

The format is similar to the one Bradley experienced in the Chicago Invitational Tournament 2 seasons ago.

By the way- I have learned that the Bradley team will also be staying at the Mirage Hotel, the same one the Bradley fan charter is staying at.
The games will be played at th Orleans Arena, adjacent to the Orleans Hotel and Casino (1 mile west of "The Strip"), and a couple miles away from the Mirage. Bradley will be arranging bus transfers to and from the Arena and the Mirage, but the priority for these will go to the charter people. However, there will be some room for other fans. If you are staying at the Mirage, and would like to ride on the Bradley shuttle busses, contact Mr. Goldin (309-677-3030) to make arrangements.
For those flying on their own to Las Vegas, car rental is relatively cheap in Las Vegas, and all hotels and casinos have lots of free parking.

Las Vegas Invitational
We played in that tournament 2 years ago. Got two cupcakes in Norfolk, then played UNC and Louisville in Las Vegas on consecutive nights.
The Orleans hotel is, well, a dump. The casino is OK, but very smokey. The arena, however, is attached to the facility via a walkway, and the sightlines are very good. Additionally, we had very scantily-clad waitresses serving us mixed drinks at our seats during the games.
Great experience. If you are lucky enough to get tickets that are "AA" or "BB", etc; You are near courtside. I ended up with courtside seats just behind press row - got to talk with coaches and college BB notables during and after the games.
Nothing like Vegas and college BB. However, the part of town the Orleans is located in leaves a little to be desired.

The Orleans website has info suggesting that tickets will be on sale this morning at 10:00 am Las Vegas time (12 noon Peoria time)-
However, this page says the tickets don't go on sale until 12 noon Las Vegas time--
https://ev2.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncomm...ppList&appCode=
However, despite the fact that they are not yet available online, they did go on sale at 10:00 am Las Vegas time, but you have to call the Orleans Arena ticket sales office at 702-284-7777.
For those traveling on their own- I suggest getting tickets early, as I hear there will be a lot of fans there from Oklahoma State, Illinois, and Utah.
