  • Summer Session at ESPN.com

For the past few weeks, ESPN.com has been focusing on college basketball conferences across the country in a feature called Summer Session. Today's feature is on the MVC.....

    After a four-bid 2006, what's next for the not-so-mid-major Missouri Valley?

It seemed like a decent preview. I wish the Bradley blurb hadn't been all about Ray Brown, but he was expected to make a contribution and screwed up.

I didn't see any blaring misinformation like you can usually find in a national publication. However, maybe I missed it.

Awesome. I feel like we wouldn't have had that much ESPN ink in a whole year prior to last season.

Even though it's about a negative topic, BU's name getting out there is a good thing. As many have said, these are problems the big programs deal with yearly.

Nice article, they do a thorough job researching the teams, unlike other previews that list players who have left, or leave out late recruits and transfers.

One semi-mistake- In listing the MVC conference standings for 2005-2006 at the bottom, they list Bradley 6th, behind UNI. Bradley and UNI had identical conference records, but Bradley beat UNI twice and won the conference tiebreaker. Thus, they should be listed 5th.

To use the vernacular of the street, the BU preview was "dope"

???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

that is only for the seeds for the conference tourney as far as tie-breakers. for example, siu is listed 3 but they were the #2 seed. just like bu they won the tie-breakers, but that is only for the conference tourney.

Actually almost all the capsules for the individual teams are very, very shallow.
The BU capsule as noted talks only about Brown and nobody else.
The ISU capsule talks just about only about their point guard situation which wasn't weak due to injury as they say.
And Creighton's capsule talks only about the injuries to their key players, Dotzler & Funk.
Would have liked to see a little more about what to expect.

We it is as in-depth as the previews for the other conferences.
