Missouri State get a commitment from 6'4" shooting guard Jermaine Mallett, a juco sophomore from Marion Military Institute in Marion, Alabama. He averaged 22.6 ppg, 9.4 rebounds,4 assists and 2.7 steals this season. He picked MSU over Sam Houston State, Detroit and North Texas State.

The Bears also appear ready to sign a 5th guard, 6'2" Nafis Ricks, a Division 2 juco player. The Spingfield News-Leader is reporting that he will announce his commitment to MSU today. He averaged 17 ppg and shot 30% from three for Johnson Community College in Kansas.
However, none of the recruiting sites confirm this yet.
