We have a plethora of guards right now and some real bigs coming in this coming year followed by 2 other bigs. We have one more scholie to offer for the following year. What do we go after? EM and WE will be a junior so I say we go after the best 5 guy we can get or pure point guard. If Tyler Les can take up the slack at the 1 then (free ride without using a scholie) we should be going after the best 5 player there is that will listen to us and make that the number one priority.

I think in a situation like that the point is to AIM HIGH. Go after the recruit you want the most regardless of position, even if he's a long shot. Pull out all the stops for that one recruit (a Shumpert level of recruit).

I'll take Ricardo, but BU might also be focusing on another PG/combo guard for that class (if we see attrition) (such as Jarrod Oldham, Rayvonte Rice, Thornton's Reggie Smith)...as well as a scoring wing....(Ricardo Johnson, Josh Sewell...)
but who knows....maybe even wait and see what develops so we can land a transfer if someone like MR or Iman Shumpert get unhappy where they are...

The beautiful thing about Ricardo Johnson is that he is a relatively big guy with point guard like ball handling. He's TW except with the ability to dribble and, from what I read, a better shot. Can you imagine two bigger guys on our team with point guard like skills, JW and RJ, and the ability to shoot well? That'd be awesome.
I'd have him over MR any day, but Shumpert would be interesting.
I'd say a POB type center or Ricardo.

I agree BradleyBrave... I want a go-to player with the last scholly.Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

Having all these guards scares me a bit. I'm just afraid with all the guards we have Les will be tempted to use his 4 guard line-up that as of this moment has gotten BU as far as a 4th place finish in the MVC. I agree with SFP, we need another BIG if for no other reason than it forces Les to play more than one guy over 6'7" at a time. That will be a day I will celebrate. I know I am dreaming, but does anyone think there will ever come a day when BU will have 3 BIG guys on the floor at the same time? If that happens that will mark the time BU breaks through and finishes at the top of the league. I want to see a real frontline. (Anderson, Thirdkill, Reese) (Livingston, Carr, and sorry but I can't remember the big white guy's name with WSU-DaCoach probably remembers). BU would dominate the league with a team of BIGS "that play at the same time" to go along with a rotation of 2 guards at a time. Remember gentlemen, size does matter!

With the verbal commitments of Harris and Wilkins, Bradley will have six guys over 6'8" on the projected roster. There certainly looks to be many guards in the mix. By default, I think they would go after a 6'5" wing type of player to replace Roberts and Warren down the road.
It certainly is a better spot to be in compared to a couple of years ago when Bradley desperately needed to recruits some bigs.1996 & 2019

Bringing in Prosser, Knezevic, Harris, Wilkins the next 2 years. Not sure where the "bigs" problem is here. This coming seson, the only way I'd worry is if AT, JP, and MK are all busts and WE's near break-out sophomore season proves to have been an illusion. A lot has to go wrong for BU to have no inside game from here on out. And I think we're due some luck from the basketball gods.
