I have listed as options the most well known places, but feel free to "write in" your choice....
Agatucci's has been a favorite for decades, but I hear they have fallen off a bit....not the quality, just less favor in the eyes of the younger crowd
Avanti's and Bellacino's obviously have the right locale to remain popular with the folks on campus
Domino's, Monical's and the other places that deliver has an advantage and among those guys, I really love Monical's
Davis Brothers in East Peoria has fallen in popularity, and I find that a lot of the college kids don't even know about them.
But...my single favorite pizza is from a place a lot of the BU students might not know about.
I love the Brick Oven (now, due to a name change it's called the Red Rock Bar & Grill)
Bill Ingold started the Brick Oven on the square in Washington then opened another one on Detroit St. in Morton...
Recently they decided to go after a larger "fan base" than just those seeking pizza, so they changed their motif and renamed the place
the Red Rock Bar & Grill, and are now a combo sports bar & grill with a broad menu of steaks & sandwiches, and pizza place.
But they cook their pizzas in an authentic brick over and do a really great job. Only the Morton restaurant is open presently
but anyone who's never tried it ought to get out to Morton and give them a chance. They also do carry out........tell 'em I said HI...
