Bars that have Butch's pizza have as good a pizza as any I have found. Oliver's, just off Propect, used to very good also. Think it used to be the same as the Flamingo downtown across from the police station years ago.

Ah, the Flamingo. Great pizza. How well I remember. My future (and present) wife use to frequent that place. Wasn't it just down the street from the Sunflower Dress Shop???

There were a couple other places in the same block, I forget their names, that were a little seedy but the Flamingo was ok IMO. It was right on the corner across from the police station.

That name doesn't ring a bell to me. There was a so-called shop on Jefferson around where the Eagle Cleaners used to be.

I love Aggies too and agree they need to change their no refill policy but they do take credit cards now and have for quite some time.

There is a place near the Ivy Club, on Galena Rd, called the No Wake Zone that has pretty good pizza. They have a raised front porch area that is nice to sit in good weather. Today it is 19 degrees and tomorrow it is supposed to be 10 degrees. 4 and 1/2 weeks until spring.

it's obviously one person's opinion - and I can't imagine any one person actually sampled thepizzas from all these different places,
but I am gld to see he has Lou Malnati's prominently place right at the top -
but I have to admit a few of those places (Coalfire Pizza, Pequod's) I have never heard of...

Mickie's in North Pekin (? don't they also have others in East Peoria & elsewhere)
