Don't take that as me asking you to tell me every time you update the rules or something like that.

I'm a Cubs fan... simply cause I say so. (but I also root for the Cards - especially when I have their players on my fantasy baseball team)

fish....we aren't party poopers or spoil sports, just trying to make rules that don't cause the situation that offends everyone..
But every single message board has similar wording in their rules and requirements to post...ALL of them.
And for clear reason...as message boards are NOTORIOUSLY populated by horrific arguments and melt-down levels of attacks and insults.
Making such rules not only IS the only way to operate a successful message board, it is also the only way to keep the people you DO want (the positive people) interested.
And they are interested.....as can be seen.....BradleyFans is one of the most informative and most popular boards around and rival a ton of the BCS boards in activity.
No other mid-major board I have seen rivals us. In fact lots of those 80-120 people viewing during the day are people from other BCS-sites and they do PM us and compliment on the site.

I'm not suggesting that you (or the moderators) are.
I actually think this is one of the better moderated boards out there. I'm a member of a lot of BBs, and most are completely uncivil and irritating to be on (with good information or not). Like all things, I think there are aspects of bradleyfans.com moderating that could be improved, but I believe I'm on record saying that I think the moderating is good, and have never suggested it's bad.

and thanks..but some sure do........
....but note that several weeks ago, I resigned as a moderator....kinda got tired of being in the middle of arguments and getting blamed for everyone else's unhappiness (a position moderators seem to find themselves in)
I have better things to do and will leave the mediating between miserable people to someone else.....
so the moderating is all in the hands of others....you cannot blame me any more (not that some will stop some from doing it anyway!)

Cubs fans are "fans".
Bears fans are "fans".
Being a "fan" means you don't give a rat's @ss about any other team that your team may play. You simply cheer for YOUR team, come he11 or high water.
When your a "fan" your team is like family. You NEVER kick them to the curb! YOU can boo them and criticize them .... BUT NOBODY ELSE BETTER!
I think that those who are offended by ANY criticism they read about Bradley and Bradley basketball are "fans".... like me. I can say what's wrong with my Braves BUT YOU CAN'T! Get it?

Why does it always have to be one board vs. another board??
Along with an ISU fan, I am a Michigan fan...
I have one favorite blog/board call "MGoBlog.com"... when going there, there is a link to over 25 OTHER Michigan related blogs... I suppose they are in "competition" with each other for traffic and hits, but they all (from what I have seen) support each other... even post links from other peoples blogs on their own. The message boards often have links to other boards on those blogs as well...
Why does it always have to be one board VS. all other boards???
