Lewis Jackson was pulled over for being clocked at 81 in a 65 zone, then found to be carrying open alcohol, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
there were multiple charges of DUI, possession, etc...but he plea-bargained and pled guilty to just the "illegal alcohol consumption and possession of drug paraphernalia" charges, so that the other charges were dropped and he didn't have to face jail time.

Today Purdue announced they will suspend LJ for their two exhibitions (California of Pennsylvania & Kentucky Wesleyan) and their first regular season game vs. Cal State Northridge.

one of the games suspended was due to an NCAA violation...so really for all that illegal stuff with drugs and booze last summer, all he gets is two exhibition games...
