  • ESPN insults Bradley, again

ESPN has set up regional college sites.
Here is the Chicago and Illinois ESPN site

It lists links to 8 of the 13 Illinois D1 schools, but anyone notice that one of the most successful and best supported D1 teams is missing?

    What a joke.

I suggest all Bradley fans click below and contact them about their oversight.

And don't think I didn't bring up Peoria, IN, either...

I noticed this oversight earlier today, and sent ESPN.com an email. Here's their response...and I substituted my screen name for my real name.

              They don't have EIU either.

Did anyone check Indiana to see if we were on that one?

I again encourage everyone to email ESPN and ask that they add Bradley to the ESPN-Chicago site. Here is the comment form-
Visit ESPN for live scores, highlights and sports news. Stream exclusive games on ESPN+ and play fantasy sports.

Here is the note I sent them--

Subject: Correction to ESPN-Chicago, college sites

On your new ESPN Chicago site--
Get the full coverage of all Chicago sports teams on ESPN, including the Bears, the Cubs, the White Sox, the Blackhawks, and the Bulls.

You have the following college page--

But you have omitted Bradley University of Peoria, Illinois-
a Division 1 college that has always had a tremendous presence in Chicago, and they are one of the Top 25 winningest college basketball programs in history.
Could you please add Bradley to your college sites?
                    Thanks

No shock here Da Coach. The Score here in Chicago rarely mentions Bradley scores either. But for ESPN Chicago to leave them off their website is insulting! Especially when you consider they have been a consistently better team than Loyola or DePaul over the last quite a few years!

I will definately e-mail ESPN on this one!

I'm pretty sure they're incompetent. They have a link for SIU football but not ISU football. They're in the same football conference, for chrissakes.

DePaul, Loyola, and UIC are all in Chicago itself, so of course they won't forget those teams. Although they did forget Chicago State.

Conclusion: They're incompetent. They're not trying to hate Bradley - they're too stupid to do so if they wanted to
