Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final
???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

Here is a funny story about UConn's All American center Hasheem Thabeet.
He was twittering last weekend as he partied in Miami. By the way, UConn is not on break, and their other players were back on campus attending classes.
While other UConn underclassmen have posted messages about going to class, Thabeet's "tweets" since April 1 have mostly been about having fun.
"Swagga On A Zillion... Oewwwwww!!!! MIA-yooo Lets Go!!!!," he posted Sunday at 2:30 a.m.
"At The Forge For Dinner!!! I didn't know food could be so expensive.... Ahhhh LOL!! Enjoyin MIAMi tho.. Fancy Life, Fancy Cars.... Mhmmm.
Back In UConn...
"Wats Good Peepo????," he wrote.
Thabeet has one more year of eligibility left, and has not yet decided whether to return to UConn or enter the NBA draft. He is scheduled to meet soon with UConn coach Jim Calhoun to decide. But judging by his partying in Miami, attending a Miami Heat game and sitting courtside in seats that cost thousands of $, and eating at ultra-expensive restaurants, I would guess that he is already spending some of the money he will be earning in the NBA next year. With the NCAA issues UConn already has being investigated, I would think Calhoun would not try to talk Thabeet into returning to UConn.

He really is a "game changer".but Griffen will be a much better pro then Thabeet unless he gains some strength and weight. The NBA 5 position probaby gets more of a pounding then a QB in the NFL. His offensive skills are questionable and he'll be another Pervis Ellison at the next level IMO.
