Mizzou's DeMarre Caroll had a strong game - 8-11, 18 pts, 6 rebs in 26 min.
UIC's Scott Vandermeer had 10 pts, 11 rebs, 4 blocks
Jermaine Taylor (Central Florida guard) had the top single game in the entire first round with 30 points
Tyrese Rice (Boston College PG) had a nice game with 14 pts, 7 asst and 4-7 from the NBA 3-pt line
