I'm surprised no one started a thread on these guys. I said all along if these guys play D no one and I meant no one could compete with them. They even made MSU look small. Imagine what they would make us look like? They were 2-3 inches bigger at every spot except guard, though Lawson is a tank! I'm not sure if BU will ever be able to compete or get that type of talent but we have to look into getting players in that mold. Every single player could shoot a mid-range jumper and finish around the basket. Their team D was fantastic with everyone sliding over to cover the weak-side and their height effected MSU's outside shot. I did appreciate the way they moved the ball and passed. They seemed to be able to get open shots when they wanted and that curl, catch and shoot by Ellington was a play of beautiful movements in which I hope we deploy with AW next year. They were setting a bunch of picks down low so their shooter could curl around and get the needed space to shoot.

I totally agree with all you have said. NC just played over the top of MSU. Their starting lineup was 6'9, 2- 6'8, 6'5 and the tank at 5'11 Off the bench came a 6'10, 2-6'8 and a 6'5. Lord only one can hope We have some big kids coming, we just need to play bigger and we will win

Ok, this we have got to get bigger thing is getting ridiculous. I agree we need bigger players, but it's not that easy to get them. Good big guys are very scarce, that's why the teams that have them do so well. Also, you said it right, we're never going to have that kind of talent. UNC returned 4 out of 5 starters from a Final Four team, and the have what some are calling a lottery pick coming off the bench. To say the advantage they have over BU is height is hilarious. UNC, has 4 star kids riding pine whereas BU has a quasi 4-star recruit and it's a huge deal. UNC returned the national player of the year, Bradley returned a All-MVC Newcomer player... The comparison is just unreasonable. I could argue that we need to get better guards like Ty Lawson, and be just as right as you guys... The two teams are just hardly comparible at this point in time. We need to accept that to some degree and set our sights on finishing higher in the MVC, etc. Rome wasn't built in a day... Neither was UNC...

First you say its ridiculous and then you say we need to. Which is it jk
I think JL has some pretty good big's coming in next year and the year after. I know what your saying but JL has us on track to go big with some bigs that can run, shoot and handle the ball. Yes we are not going to get McDonald's A. A's. but we can play big. As for Ty Lawson, 5' 11 guys that play at his level are, well just far and few in between
