This is a very odd time of the year for a D-I head coach to be fired, right before the school year begins.
But, never the less, the head coach of McNeese State just got canned.

It is being described as "an emergency situation" and that Tic Price was fired for "personal reasons"
and that it had nothing to do with his performance on the court.

A few minor note on the coaching carousel involve ex-Valley coaches.

Doug Novsek, who used to be assistant coach at both ISU and Indiana State was hired as assistant under Mark Fox as Nevada.
