Now here is a person with both a sense of humor and a sense of reality all at the same time. Rare combination. Nice post... I nearly blew water out of my nose as I was taking a drink when I read it. Thanks.

      Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

DN would be a good fit at UNLV, NM St., or Nevada.

Glad you posted this, I was starting to think if maybe the coaching staff suggested he leave.

Cal St-Northridge. He can team up with another BU departure, Xavier Crawford.

Unless he gets a waiver to play next year, he won't have the pleasure of suiting up with Xavier, who will be a senior.

They can team up in practice for the 2nd unit, and sit by each other at the end of the bench. That's where Xavier will be.

I hate to see him leave as he was a good shooter and I thought he played great defense for a freshman, I completely understand why as when you add Warren to the mix next season then minutes will be harder to come by.
Good luck to Darian and I hope everything works out for you in the future as I really believe you are a good player and the type of person we like to have in Peoria .

I am not really surprised that DN decided to leave, there are only so many minutes available the next two years with AW, SM, and McCain projected to get the bulk of the minutes. And thats not even counting Dodie or Chris for next year. I wish him well wherever he ends up.

                                Thanks Grassman.

I think this place is a better place for fans if we don't discuss publically which players we think shouldn't be on the team.
