He had a lot of potential, and he got decent PT as a freshman, but I don't see why he wants to play PG that much. This sucks as he was one of our best shooters.

wow.. I was hoping this was a bad April fools joke.... This certainly will make recruiting news interesting in the near future.

      Good luck Darian
      Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

Terrible news. With a healthy AW I am not sure where his minutes would come next year, but I saw him having potential his junior and senior years. Well, there goes 1/2 of our Vegas connection. Hopefully the other half makes it here.

Thats pretty surprising news. I talked to him not too long ago and he was really high on Bradley and really seemed to like playing here.

It's a shame since he seemed like he could be a great player.
This is just the tip of the iceberg...

Not good. He got pretty decent minutes for a first year player this year, and had some real solid contributions. I hope this is the end of the departures.

No joke, Norris has a lot of abilities and I wish him all the best. With Warren back next year Dunson, McCain, Roberts and Maniscalco how much playing time would Norris have had next year if he stayed at BU?
If you cant go to school go to STATE!!

I was thinking April Fools as well.

We do have guard depth so I can understand why he would want out, but what I don't get is this. When he signed, we already had all those guards in place, so he had to know that early PT was going to be tough to come by.

That's exactly what I thought! I'm very surprised to hear this as I thought he would really come into his own, not just on the court, with MK coming in.

I guess the basketball season is over and now it's "grid" season.
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12
