Rarley this year was he as good or better than the point guards of the teams we played. I would take most of them over McCain. He is Billy Wright without the care Billy took with the ball. Enough of that experiment... New point guard please! OK. I'm done now.

Is that because EM averaged 0.1 turnovers per game more than SM?

I'd like to think that EM and SM will split time and overlap for around 5 minutes a game. EM can put more pressure on the opposing PG them SM. IF EM develops or learns to take that shot, watch out.

      1 - EM 20 mpg, SM 20 mpg
      2 - SM 10 mpg, DN 8 mpg, AW 10 mpg, DD 2 mpg
      3 - AW 18 mpg, DD 12 mpg, CR 10 mpg
      4 - TB 20 - 25 mpg, CR 5 - 10, JP/MK 5- 10 mpg
      5 - WE 20 - 25 mpg, SS 15 mpg, JP 5 mpg

If we have to play CR at the 4 for extensive minutes we will be in trouble! Our best bet is that JP will be able hold his own next year at the 4 and WE is stronger then ever.

That logic does not work with me as I am not a fan of either.

I've got to disagree with you SFP..............vehemently .

If Warren and Maniscalco do not average 32-35 minutes per game next season then we will only be an above average team. I firmly believe that a successful BU (MVC Champion/NCAA bid) team needs a 35 mpg point guard to captain the ship, and a 35 mpg warrior to lead the team in scoring 75% of the time with a 20+ppg average (and if McCain turns out to be that captain instead of Maniscalco I'm fine with that).

B4L, If any of our guards can play 35 mpg then they are not playing the type of D that will be needed with our under sized bigs! Our guards will have to play their butts off, fight through every screen, press from end line to end line, shoot through passing lanes for steals and then recover quickly if they miss and most important mix it up inside and block out to help out on the defensive boards. Then they will have to play an up-tempo offense, which means sprinting to the other side to put as much pressure on the other teams D as possible before they can set up their D. The depth is there and if we do not use it wisely we'll have another C-Tournament under our belts.

With all the experienced guards we will have there is no reason to have any of them play more then 32 minutes a game.

                  I cannot agree more!
Play CR at the 4 and we'll be having the same discussion next year after facing other "really good" mid-majors that play big in some non-NCAA tourney.
Coaching staff, No excuses, again. CR is not our answer for the 4 next year, develop the other, bigger guys we have! (I am hopeful they realize this fact. CR did not play that much at the 4 this year, and seems to have a guard-enough handle to stay a guard...)

I believe they skipped Roberts in the posted Top 10 video because one of the ESPN sportscasters was making fun of SM's name. Then the other sportscaster pronounced it correctly and by that time Roberts segment was pretty much over with. I'm sure ESPN did that out of respect for SM. I know I would want my name pronounced correctly on national TV.
