I thought we were very poorly coached tonight. Where was Dodie in the second half? Where was David Collins?? I thought that David did a nice job altering shots early in the game... I thought Dodie was our best perimeter defender... And together, perhaps we wouldn't have been so terribly out-performed in the second half. That was not a "good game." W were terrible, we couldn't get a defensive rebound to save our lives, and the proper alignment of players didn't see the court. I'm pretty peeved right now, to be quite honest.. I felt like I could have coached that team in a more efficient, effective fashion.

Bradley had been shooting the three very well the last several games, but 4-22 tonight was not going to win the game against their zone defenses.
If Bradley could have just just hit a couple more shots, or grabbed a couple more rebounds, the outcome could have been different. But tonight ODU was the better team.
I can't wait for next year! If the freshman bigs contribute as much as the freshman guards did this year, this team's going to be pushing for an NCAA spot.

Congrats to OD....they deserved the Win....they did what they had to.....you can't go 0-10 on 3's in the 2nd half until CR hits the 3 with seconds left on the clock and expect to beat a team killing you on the boards! I would love a home & home with these guys!
PS....IMO too much SS in the 2nsd half.....he played from the 13 minute mark on and I really thought DC could have at least given SS a blow?

Well ODU fans despite what our comercials proclaim our economy is bad (like the rest of the Nation) so please feel free to celebrate in Peoria as long as you like. Call all your friends lets keep the celebration rolling for a day or two.
Seriously we need the $, but more Serious, you guys are an awesome team, congrats to the Monarchs.......................................... ...........................
Props to CAA, excuse me now as I go drown my sorrows and feel sorry for myself.

Our poor 3 point shooting hurt us as much as the rebounding did. My only problem is why didn't Collins see the floor in the last 13 minutes??? If Les wanted Singh in there for the most part, fine. But when he is standing there awaiting an inbounds, hands on knees and just got beat for a basket I think you have to at least give him a breather. He showed his frustration on offense when he forced a couple of shots. Again, I have no problem with Sam taking the bulk of the inside minutes in the last 12min. However, I don't think you can leave him in for 12 straight minutes and expect much in the last few minutes. If he gets a breather maybe he gets that rebound with about 1:50 left to play instead of an easy put back. I also felt a little bad for Collins as a senior not having a single minute in the last 12 of his college career.

I really am angry right now. I usually am not angry after losses, but we really should have beat that team... I feel like I could have directed a biddy basketball team to a better performance... Seriously...Here's the deal, Wyoming for football, Bradley for basketball.

Great season to you guys.... way to come out and support your team.
I think we stayed on the bus for the first 5 minutes... and your fans were very loud.
Hassell really stepped up toward the end of the year when our capt. (Lee) got hurt. Lee still doesn't seem back to normal to me. Hassell actually has been playing the last month with a stress fracture in his leg.
We're very happy. And we would love to schedule you guys... it's a heck of a road trip though.
Lets talk up a MCV/ACC tournament for the future. You guys are young and the future looks bright. It's been nice surfing your board. Good luck with the recruits and hopefully we'll see you soon.

I want to congratulate ODU as I thought they stuck with their game plan well even when they were down. I agree, however, we saw a poorly coached game by JL. SS was not adding much if anything; he couldn't keep anyone off the boards, defend against second chance shots or play effectively on the offensive end. Meanwhile, DC sat the bench. If SS isn't effective atleast put DC or AT in the game. We need to develop a more balanced attack, next year CR has to drive the paint more, we have to have someone who can score from inside. We settled for too many pull up threes at the end of the game. If we could get a dead eye shooter with and inside-out game we would be a much better team. BU did not deserve to win, but the fans deserved a better coached game. At some point BU deserves more...I'm not calling for JL to be ousted, but would like to see a better coached game.

Why are some of you so upset?
Goals for this team coming into this tournament:
1) Get more PT for young guys...check
2) Get postseason experience for young guys...check
3) Get more team practices in...check
....and way down the importance on the list...
Win the tournament. The team got the most out of this tournament by just making it to the finals.
Edit: BTW, I agree that it was a poorly coached game. I just don't think it's that big of a deal for the reasons that I list above.
