Yes, I was talking about Buycks. Too bad things didn't work out to get him on the hilltop 2 years ago.

There are only 4 schools represented on that list. Is that all there is for that district? In that case, you just really need to be a starter on any of the 4 schools in order to make the all area team. (18 slots for 1st, 2nd and HM)

That would leave a possilbe 3 of 20 starters out of the mix for all area honors. Maybe there should be a third team, that way everyone gets a ribbon.

Anthony Salter is a fairly highly rated D-I kid who now is going to D-II

Salter originally signed with Auburn before changing to Hawaii....and was ranked at the #3 junior college player in the country, ahead of Mamadou Seck, Aziz N'Diaye, Kentucky's Eloy Vargas, and lots of BCS kids!

Dwight Buycks is on an NBA roster - he's signed a multi-year deal with the Toronto Raptors...

this is a kid that we had signed, sealed, and delivered...
Buycks signed his LOI to Bradley and was all set to be a BRAVE, and was literally one foot on campus when something screwed it up along the way of academics...then a great career at juco meant he got more offers and went to Marquette..

Now he's an NBA player - congrats to DB
