  • Matt Roth is MVP of Las Vegas AAU event

Class of 2008 Washington High School star Matt Roth was named MVP as the Indiana Elite-Team Indiana won the 16-U title at the Adidas Super 64 Tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This is impressive considering the caliber of talent at this tournament. Matt's own team, the Indiana Elite-Team Indiana (16-U) includes fellow Bradley recruiting targets Lewis Jackson and 6-8 Jeremy Robinson (Decatur Eisenhower) and #1 rated class of 2008 prospect in Illinois DeAndre Liggins (Chicago Washington) as well as several others destined for major Div I schools.

Congratulations Matt. It would be nice to see him play in a Bradley uniform in a couple years.

I have heard Jim Les has offered him a scholarship already. I believe he offered him last year during the season.
        Onward and Upward!

Yes, this was reported from a Sun Times article, here is the prior discussion and it says BU offered while Matt Roth was in 8th grade!
