regularly making the top 10 plays, that's not a bad extra selling point for recruits.

Being a top 25 team does too. The two circus plays were great but why go play for somewhere that gets Sportscenter highlights or go play for a team that plays on ESPN regularly.

Too true, BuAlum05... Don't think anyone here would say they don't want to be a top 25 team?

Isn't this a given?? Why would you even bring down a nice thread by pointing something like this out??

The PR of a Top 10 is good, but its frustrating that 'The Heave' didn't even have a good camera angle because the game wasn't televised. Also, if that shot was in the NCAA tourney, that would be up for an ESPY award and talked about for years.

I wouldn't have been there if it happened in the NCAA tourney! I will never forget the night of "the shot" and experiencing that moment with my son!
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

Yeah but it didn't so whats the point?

Lots of "ifs" in this world but why get stuck saying "what if"...or "if only?"

It was a great moment and a great shot that made alot of people happy (and a few quite UNhappy) and garnered BU and Roberts some nice attention.

To each is own but I'd rather except reality and enjoy it for what it WAS vs wishing it was something else.....

I'm not saying it wasn't a great moment for BU basketball, in fact I wish I could have seen it in person. I was merely contesting (probably too harshly) that making the SC Top 10 isn't that big of a recruiting point.

But it does more positive than it does negative. Easy.
