OSU gets the first home game, but the final two (if necessary) are @ UTEP, as the game dates Da Coach posted indicate.

      Cost saving move most likely.

        Some interesting CBI notes--
FRIDAY ..a few hours before Rick Pitino's loaded Louisville team goes off on that underdog, it-was-a-cool-story-while-it-lasted Arizona team in the NCAA Tournament. And coach Pennell, if you follow this blog, you know EXACTLY what I am trying to do...

        Here are a few facts:

-Oregon State is the last Pac 10 team still playing!

-Oregon State is 16-17, despite winning 3 games in the CBI and making it to the final. If they win the championship, they have a chance to pull al the way up to .500 for the season!

-8,812: Wichita State fans in attendance for their Quarterfinal Round game against Stanford... the second largest crowd to date in the history of the CBI Tournament.
(the record attendance is 9,014 by Bradley for their home game against Tulsa in last year's CBI final series, on 4/2/08 )

-86: Total points scored by UTEP's Stefon Jackson, who is in line to break the CBI record for most points in a tournament, shared by Bradley's Jeremy Crouch and Tulsa's Ben Uzoh (104).

Thanks Da Coach! That was a really nostalgic trip through the "history" of this tournament!

Seriously though, who knows in twenty years or so if both the CBI and the CIT last that long. Then maybe there will be plenty of great moments to look back upon. However, both tourneys are off to a good start, and I have a feeling Chris Robert's shot will be the most notable moment of the CIT for years to come!
