  • Seth Curry is leaving Liberty

Prepared Statement From Seth Curry ??“ March 24, 2009

Today I am announcing that I will not be returning to Liberty for my sophomore year. This is a difficult decision that I have reached after close consultation with my family and others close to me, and it is based on my desire to develop as an athlete to the fullest of my potential and take advantage of new opportunities that may be available to me in a higher rated conference.

My freshman year at Liberty has been an incredible experience. It has been a time of learning, growth and discovery of my potential as a person, a student and an athlete. For that I am deeply indebted to all of those who have influenced and supported me here ??“ Coach McKay and his staff, my great teammates, my teachers, and my friends.

You have given me memories that will last a lifetime, and for that I cannot find words to express my gratitude.

    Thank you,
    Seth

This is the best college basketball news I have received in years. Poetic justice! I will be grinning ear-to-ear the rest of the day!

My guess would be Va Tech if they can make room for him.

Well, they told Stephen Curry he could 'walk on'...I wonder if their coach will make that mistake again...

          Here's something funny.
This same topic was posted on the ISU board about Curry transferring, and guess what the first response was?
It was a response asking if he was going to transfer to ISU. Ha. Ha.

Someone over there also said "Bradley's Chris Robertson hit a 70 ft last night to beat Oakland". I'm unable to find him on our roster!
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

Hmmmmmmmmmmm................ Didn't Hawk once play with Del Curry? And didn't Les and Curry both play in the NBA at the same time? And didn't Richie McKay once screw over Jim Les and Bradley?

Speaking of the small minds thing mentioned on another thread--can we get over Ritchie McKay? Seriously?

It would be nice to see young Curry stay at Liberty. Will be interesting to see where he ends up.

Fair enough. I don't get/understand/agree with the its ok to criticize and ridicule people NOT associated with Bradley, but, as mentioned, thems the rules.

I wonder if Curry will transfer to another "faith based" school. Has he said that is a priority for him?
