  • Illinois State mentioned as possible destination for transfer

Trey Blue, a pretty good shooting guard from Thornwood HS (class of 2006) in south suburban Chicago, who spent a year at Brewster prep school, and a year at Fordham, is transferring. At Fordham, he averaged 8.1 points per game as a freshman.
    ChicagoHoops.com reports-
A number of schools of schools including Alabama-Birmingham, Illinois State and Kent State are under consideration. Blue is still very much wide open, and still interested in having interest from new schools.

Trey Blue was a high school teammate of Reggie Hamilton, who is also looking for a school to transfer to. Hamilton, also a shooting guard, spent 2 years at UMKC, and left the team in January.

At Brewster Prep, Trey Blue was a teammate of current ISU Redbird Kellen Thornton. Possibly one of these guys might end up at ISU, although they seem to be more interested right now in a juco big man for next year.

Also Fordham is in a really bad part of NY! It is located right around the Bronx Zoo and it is a place you do not want to be around when the sun goes down.
