I'm no evaluator of talent but Marcus Jordan looks like a nice player.

According to Rivals he has only 1 offer from Miami.

As a long time Bulls fan

Seeing M.J. on T.V. chilling in the 2nd row like that's his season ticket seat all focused on the game was cool.

Hope he was able to get a round of golf in somewhere.

My Dad and I were going back and forth between the NCAA and the IHSA and he comented that it was weird to know there is a whole generation of kids that never saw M.J. play.

              It seemed like only yesterday.

His offer from Miami was pulled when they got a comitment from another shooting guard. His offers now are from schools like Ohio University, Nebraska, and Iowa State.

4 years ago, Marcus Jordan was rated the #1 player in Illinois in the class of 2009, but now he isn't even in most Top 10 lists.
I can see why colllege recruiters backed off him, he plays more of a forward type of game, but he is just 6'3". He gets almost all his points with drives to the basket, mostly because of his size and strength, not quickness. He won't get those baskets at the college level. He doesn't really have a jump shot, it's more of a set-shot. And though he seems to be a very smart player and plays a lot of minutes, he only averages 10 points, 2 assists, and 4 rebounds per game.
Interesting fact- Friday's game was only the 6th time all year, in 34 games, that Marcus Jordan has been his team's leading scorer. And his 22 points in Friday's 4A semifinal was his high for the season, and the first time he has reached 20 points in a game.

IMO he should go to a midmajor where he can play, but like his brother, I suspect he will pick a major and ride the bench.

That's so true. And it's unfortunate too. But at least nowadays with youtube, kids can still see M.J.'s greatest highlights.

Marcus said in today's PJStar that his top three schools were Oklahoma, Davidson, and Toledo.

I guess Prosser was sitting behing MJ ?!?

Speaking of MJ, Peoria's Beau Sutherland, Metamora athletics director Randy Toepke and Eureka's Stan and Jordan Prosser were a few of those in lucky Section 12 on Friday night. After several changes in his seating plan, Michael Jordan landed in Section 12, Row BB, Seat 13; right in front of the aforementioned.

If I was in his shoes I'd be pretty fat and happy also.
