UConn vs Chattanooga - No Calhoun

If you haven't heard, Calhoun was hosiptalized and won't be on the sidelines. Assoc Head Coach George Blaney is at the helm again.

UTC has come out unphased so far. UConn is 0-5 from 3.

Some news reports hint it is more serious than is being reported and that he could be out through the weekend...
One report - although not confirmed - links his present abdominal symptoms to cancer treatment Calhoun had last year...although Calhoun has actually undergone 3 surgeries for cancer.
Regardles.... I wish him well and personally I let the guy have the time he needs to get well!


But for the sake of consistency....Why is the press not ripping into Calhoun & UConn and calling them dishonest over this??
It is clear they are hiding something....where's the press when you need them...
UNC was lying over Lawson's injury and Illinois was lying over Frazier's injury....just like BU lied over Ruffin's injury last year!

The reason is because the national media types understand gamesmanship while one of our local writer at the PJS have no idea about the sport they are suppose to cover and how these things are done. Or might it be just that they have a gripe with JL and have a huge sense of entitlement?
