Also one area we are lacking this year are guys that can get pas the ball into the paint. TB is the only player I can think of that did a good job of passing to our bigs from the perimeter. I hope that we teach our guys how to get the ball into the paint and our bigs learn how to fight their way into position and hold their ground. The UNI big does a great job establishing his ground.

TB will get the majority of TW's minutes mix in DD/JP/CR also to make up for w/e TB doesn't take
With Warren back...he takes McCain's minutes. Sorry to say it but we have SM at the point who wants to win more than anyone and has the work ethic and is by far the most consistent person on this team. Without SM being our #1 scoring option (like he was/is this season) he will EXPLODE. He will be a great pg for us with actual options around the perimeter and a few inside, and he will be able to create and make his own shot because he's gotten used to it from this year...he add consistency and a danger factor to the pg spot and that is something that will be extremely useful. McCain does not bring that....McCain will not start over SM and his minutes will drop only because there's only really one way to go after the minutes he got this season. McCain will still get plenty but it won't be as much as this season...
DD will be a 2 with Warren at the 3 and when CR is in he'll be the 3 and Warren will go to the 2...DD and CR minutes will remain a bit stagnant...CR may increase by a minute or two...that's how I see it

This gets back to some basic fundamentals. We are very athletic and can make one handed rebound dunks but can't make an entry pass into the post consistently

It obviously looks like it will be hard to get everyone playing time.
I would be very surprised for JP to play more then 12 minutes consistently unless there is an injury or something.
As the season goes some will come to the forefront and really relish the challenge of competition and a some will shrink back. We could have another injury or two as well so there will be opportunities for people

Here's my take:
1 - McCain 28, Maniscalco 12
2 - Maniscalco 20, Dunson 14, Norris 6
3 - Warren 32, Roberts 4, Dunson 4
4 - Brown 16, Roberts 16, Prosser 8
5 - Singh 20, Egolf 16, Prosser 4
Per player totals:
Warren 32
Maniscalco 32
McCain 28
Roberts 20
Singh 20
Dunson 18
Brown 16
Egolf 16
Prosser 12
Norris 6
Really excited to see how Brown improves, wish there were more minutes for Norris but he'll get a big boost the following year. Would love to see MilosK get some minutes but he's the one I know the least about and we won't have an 11-player rotation.

I love Maniscalco's game as well, but there's no reason for him to play quite so many minutes. You'll notice that I have him with the second most minutes on the team... I just think there's no reason with our depth next year to totally wear any of these guys out. We could play with some serious tempo on D and maybe press some if we play deeper into lineups. The big minute decrease I see in my lineup that I don't like is with Heavy D. DN had a nice freshman season and I expect him to become a big contributor for us, but I don't see how to get him minutes ahead of EM, SM, CR, DN, AW.
The other key feature of my little lineup there is that with our bigs we wouldn't have a single minute of guard at those positions. That really depends on Egolf being ready and Prosser too. I know I shouldn't get high on freshmen, but really good freshmen contribute right away, and that's what I think Prosser will be.
Anyway, who knows really? We'll see the product on the floor next season, but I think a lineup like that would give us a "special" result. I'm already into off-season koolaid mode. OHHH YEAHHH!

In college where he will be able to be more aggressive he is going to be absolutely domainating. I think as a freshman he will average double figures in points per game. I know many people see him as a 4 but I think he is better suited as a 5. He will be the best 5 as a freshman that B.U. has had for as long as I can remember, even including P.O.B. I'm hoping J.L. will use him and W.E. at the same time in games. Also in high school he played the whole game most of the time, in college he will be able to be used maybe 20 minutes a game and stay fresher and more aggressive.

O'Bryant had 10.0 ppg and Granger had 11.1 ppg (both on play-in game teams)
I'm rooting for Prosser, but it seems like a big transition to go from the Corn Belt Conference to the Valley (I say that as a past player in the corn belt).
It looks like I was a little slow on the stats.1996 & 2019
