post season
I like the way he is thinking! You should want your program at the top of the valley and in the big dance..Sitting back and saying oh! we are in the post season again NIT or CBI,CI common the real tourney NCAA not mediocrity again....That is our problem accepting just the post season and not the dance is a problem in IMO...I say if we are not in the NCAA tourney next year we need to evaluate our coaching staff top to bottom!! Ticket prices have went up since 06.. What do we have to show for it 2 subpar tourneys? The product put on the floor the last 2 years has been fun to watch at times and terrible also...After all the hype the last 2 years and the hike in prices it is ok to demand an MVC title and a bid to the NCAA tourney...Not hey! were are in the post season again in some rum dumb tourney that they are trying to force on all mid majors...Do not fall into the BCS trap..Let's demand more out of our program they want it from us seasoon ticket holders!!If the ISU fans want more out of their team,we should be demanding the same from ours!!! GO BU!!

"So while you chew on Sunday??™s defeat, still struggling to digest it, take a moment to consider the alternative. Remember how it felt to be sent home on Thursday night. Recall what it was like to play a bit part in the Valley??™s annual St. Louis production.
Give perspective a chance.
It can??™t change outcomes, but can do wonders for how you view opportunities.
Playing on Sunday, on CBS, and with an NCAA bid on the line, should not be taken for granted."
I think he is saying fans should be pleased with the progress and note the contrast to just two years ago.
How quickly we forget.

Several of my ISU fan-friends are also looking at their season as a "failure"--considering they are 49-19 the past two years under Jankovich, on the NCAA bubble and hosting NIT games, I think "failure" is pretty harsh. We have been 39-31 the past two years, not on the bubble or even in the NIT...I agree--ticket price increases, hype galore, but no sniff of the NCAA's--in Barack's words--"It's time for CHANGE"Bradley football--undefeated again this year

They had very public NCAA aspirations, and had an average conference season, didn't win the tournament, and have no chance of getting to the NCAA's. They also had no real injury problems or departures. A failure might be a little harsh, but I would say major disappointment is appropriate.Onward and Upward!
