  • Quiz regarding recruiting

We had a thread asking fans who they would like to see recruited with the final 2009 scholarship and the consensus was a sharpshooting guard.

So while wait on a bid to a postseason tournament, and wait on recruiting news, I have been looking through some of the recruiting sites to see who is available that could fill Bradley's needs.

Below is a picture of a kid who might satisfy fans' wishes for an outstanding shooting guard, and he is uncommitted. I don't know if Bradley is recruiting him, but I think he'll end up at some Division I midmajor school.
Quiz- Can anyone identify who this is?
Post guesses here- the first to correctly identify him will get a nice prize of Bradley memorabilia.
I will add clues if nobody can identify him quickly.

    Can't See

I can't see the picture. Is my computer at work blocking it, or did you forget it?

Your firewall must be blocking it. It's a photo posted on photobucket. I'll put it into my avatar, and you should see it.

Go ahead and post guesses here in the thread, rather than PM me, since I might not have time to answer everyone.

Here is the first clue, and as you would expect, it probably won't give you much more than you could have guessed--

He is a 6'2" shooting guard, and is an outstanding 3-point shooter.

No, it's not Nik Garcia. I hear he is holding out for higher offers.

Next clue- I'll remove the blurring of the name on his shirt. I am not sure this will help anyone--

I was Gonna guess Zimmer from Delavan? I googled and found a article saying he is going to IWU.

Was that a player from last year?

I would have been amazed if anyone guess it by now. I suspect few if any posters will have hard of him before.

                      No, not Zimmer from Delavan.

Here is a little better clue.--
He is a much better 3-point shooter that Nik Garcia. In fact, he is one of the best 3-point shooters in the country, at 59.5% this year. He played high school ball in Illinois, and his high school team is the Panthers. He has played several games in Carver Arena.

Older brother (Jordan) Zimmer is the one at IWU. Younger brother Brady is at Delavan right now.

                          Devin Thompson from O'Fallon?

Though he's listed at being shorter... closer to 5'10.

Wow, jeffsu, you really know your high school teams. O'Fallon is the Panthers! But it is not Thompson.

But the last clue had a slightly hidden part- it said he "played" high school ball in Illinois. He is no longer in high school.

He had some D1 interest, but apparently no offers. He committed initially to D2, but then decided to go to juco, where he ranks as one of the top 5 in the country in 3-point percentage- 59.5%

If he really is closer to 5'10" Jim may take a look at him...
