If their is any BU fans left in STL, their is currently a very thin line of storms in central MO working its way towards STL. It has a couple tornado warnings in it right now but hard telling if it will be able to sustain its strength another hour to STL.
No current tornado warnings in direct path of STL but there is a couple storm cells gaining strength and that could get a warning here soon. They are about an hour or so from STL, right about when most fans will be heading out for lunch and to the game.
Well that couldn't of worked out any better for STL City. Tornado warnings went to the county S and N of STL city but just a T-Storm warning for STL. Worked out fairly well for STL unless they lose power lol.
For those still in STL, just had a tornado go just west of Springfield and is now heading up towards the Bloomington area. Also just had another storm cell blow up near Goodfield and has a tornado warning on it. Hope no fans are driving home in this stuff on the interstates.
We are currently driving back, and are between Springfield and Lincoln. But the weather here is clear and sunny. There were some storms back close to St. Louis, but they were moving mostly east.
Your likely a little behind it DC. The storm is past Bloomington now and is moving NE @ 65 MPH. Had you left about a half hour sooner you probably would of been following it most of the way home LOL.

We just had tornado warnings issued for the Kankakee and Gary, Indiana areas that are set to expire at 3 PM. The rest of us in Chicago have gotten deluged with probably 2+ inches of rains and some noisy t-storms, but nothing severe where I am in the north suburbs of Chicago.
You probably just missed the tornado warning in the Springfield area a few hours ago. Some roofs taken off apartment buildings and trees down throughout the northwest side of Springfield!
Severe weather season seems to be kicking in early this year, with the potential for more severe weather from Chicago to Springfield on Tuesday before a late season arctic front hits. Gotta love this midwestern weather!
At least no tornadoes over St. Louis ala the Georgia Dome in Atlanta during the SEC tourney last year!
It rained very hard for about 10 minutes in the Union Station area around 11:00 but the sun came out a few minutes later and was beautiful the rest of the day. I can't recall a better tournament weather wise. It was in the 70's pretty much the whole time. Coming home you had to have both hands on the steering wheel as the 30-40 m.p.h. winds made driving difficult. Semi-truck drivers were really having a tough time staying in their lanes.
