I noticed that too. I'm a little surprised the announcers did not notice that, but good call by the refs to let it go. They won fair and square.
Who ever was working that clock should be banned. I think if we timed it then that shot doesn't get off in time...but I could be wrong. What a game though...WOW!
Is that a "sarcastic" oh thank god, or are you happy Creighton won? Like I said, the Valley still has a good shot at two teams dancing. Now someone has to beat Creighton, whether ISU/Evansville or us.
I thought it was just me....but the clock did start late....you should not be able to mis-handle the inbound pass, dribble twice and get off a shot before the 1.9 secs! I thought WS had won the game!

I noticed Lunardi has dropped the SEC to just 3 bids, with South Carolina amongst the last four in! I think it's about time a BCS conference only get two teams in!
And it's going to be the top 4 seeds in the semi-finals. ISU and Bradley win with a comfortable margin while UNI and Creighton had to work for their wins. Kind of ironic considering they were playing a team on back to back days lol. Should be 2 hell of a games tomorrow.
Quite a few Shocker fans who are a bit unhappy with all the end-game weirdo stuff that all seemed to favor keeping Creighton alive.. http://outsidethepressbox.wordpress.com/
Doug Elgin isn't doing the Valley any favors in doing interview with the Wichita media to try to insist the Valley isn't trying to orchestrate a conspiracy to get Creighton in place for an at-large bid.
I thought Stinnett was fouled multiple times at midcourt without a call before WSU stole the ball to set up their final play (final play after missed ft and off rebound).
Stinnett should have passed the ball instead of being a ball hog , he was triple teamed and lost the ball, the clock did not start on time at the end and I have said for many years that Creighton seems to always get the most favorable calls from the officials , I also believe that the top 2 seeds seem to get protected more by the officials.
-Booker would of had the shot off even if the clock started on time. Clock started about half a second late and Booker got it off with roughly 8 tenths of a second left.
-Add that to the fact that the refs didn't call the foul as Stinnett was mugged at half court because it was a makeup call for WSU's player getting mugged as he went in for the layup that would of given them the chance for 2 FT's and the tie with like 13 seconds left.

I counted three fouls on WSU in that sequence.
So yeah, there's been bad officiating all around this weekend.
