  • Great Illinois/Penn State game

Was that some great action or what. That last shot must of bounced around the rim like 3 times before it went in. Think that was the biggest court rush i've seen in a very long time. That Taylor dude that made the winning shot was almost stampeded by a thousand students lol. If everything works out right, it should be a 3 way tie for 2nd to end the Big 10 season.

    Apparently, no one cares...

I turned the game on just in time to hear PSU make the winning shot.

I'll be kinda glad when Cornley moves on.

That is what happens when you let teams just hang around and you do not put them away. Illinois had several opportunities in the second half to bury Penn State and never did it.

Also though the put back by Illinois after the shot clock expired that was allowed and the put back by Penn State that was called a goal tend didnt help out Penn State in the least. They did a good job of overcoming and then winning the game.

I went to bed before the game was over. I am under the weather.

Honestly, I was rooting for UIUC in that game. And that's hard for me to do. Comes down to "wanting ANOTHER B10 team in" as Penn St sits on the Bubble... or just let UIUC win it cause they are already locked in and bury Penn St to the NIT. Then again, if Penn St loses at Iowa... eesh, that takes them back a few steps.

The officials were terrible in this game. Terrible.

All the bobbleheads after the game now have Penn State in and they were all thinking Northwestern could get in also, and most have Ohio State also in... you want to talk about 3 absolute mediocure basketball teams. I mean one of the bobbles also thinks because South Carolina will likely get 2nd in one of the SEC divisions that they probably have a good shot.

Let all the BCS's in stop this possiblities and make it what CBS, ESPN and the NCAA want an all BCS tourney. If teams like Ohio State, Michigan, South Carolina, Kentucky are talked about as possible to solid, and Creighton has to stuggle to get any attention then this is gotten to the point of just let all the BCS teams in and let them have their own tourney.

I would love to see Northwestern make it in. I think they have some work left to do though. They have never made the tournament.

Yeah the put back was after the shot clock and the goal tend wasn't one but it seemed like the guy was on Tisdale's back so it should have been a foul.

The Illini just didn't make any plays the last 5 minutes. You have to do that to win close games..

And don't forget Northwestern. That's another one in the mix!
