I'm sorry...I know Dana is Dana but give me a break! The team was predicted to do amazing this year, and to easily take the valley title...hands down..no competition. They are doing good now but this is what was expected all year...not just the end of the year. Technically they underachieved and he still got 2nd place...
Well Creighton did tie for the MVC title, not 2nd place.
And the fact they were picked to be good should still be a credit to their coach, since he recruited, put the team together, and coached them.
I don't see why that should detract from the credit Altman gets for COY, unless he inherited those players (which is not the case). I would have been OK if he had won COY, but I would have favored Jacobson by a slight margin.
Regardless of what you think or anyone thinks...they are in fact a bubble team. If they do not get to the finals...I don't think they are in. If they do then they may be in...the chances are good, but it's not guaranteed. Which if Dana lived up to his job of 2nd best coach in the valley we wouldn't even be having this discussion...no one would...they'd be in. They have the talent no doubt...they should be in no discussion...but they underachieved and therefore are in the discussion of in or out.

well if a couple of teams in the BCS that win their tourney and wouldn't go otherwise then I agree they are on the bubble, Fact is they are one knocking at the top 25 and unless something screwy happens they are in.

What? They are one knocking at the top 25? What does that mean?
If you mean they are close to being in the top 25 then you are severely mistaken...
Are you all trying to say you think Creighton hasn't underachieved with the talent they have on their team this year? They SHOULD be a top 25 team or close...they are not...that is fact.
