Serious question, not a slam on the player. What exactly is an "Academic Exploration Program" as a major?

Academic Exploration Program at Bradley is a formal program in which a student takes care of the core classes but also receives a bit more guidance in determining their major which SM will have to do by the end of their Sophomore year.
His 3.3 gpa can be looked at like any other Sophmore except probably engineering majors which in my opinion really have it hard from day one. I was not an engineer major!
